This is a lovely oval covered vegetable tureen, design featuring a hand decorated brown rose, detailed with Gold gilding which was introduced by Royal Copenhagen in the 1950's and has long since been discontinued.
It has a full Royal Copenhagen, Denmark 1st quality marked written underneath the lid and bottom bowl, with the design number (688) above the shape/size number (9348). The decorators initials are also marked handpainted ~ abx.
Excellent condition, looks like never been used, very clean inside out. It measurement 10.5" across the handles, and 5.25" height including the finial on the lid.
